Social Responsibility

    

The Helping Friends Career Network  assists jobseekers worldwide.  Our "friends" are  active in the community.. Many of our jobseekers have brought great social good to the causes, the community and the issues that promote well being and prosperity.  We are proud to have introduced great socially responsible employers to great employees where we are all made better as a result.  

How do you get something really hard to do, done?  Ask a busy person to do it!       We know you are not just looking for another job or a resume, you are looking for an opportunity to engage, to be a top notch problem solver and opportunity creator. We believe in being both leaders, supporters, and examples of good works in action on the job and in our community.  

Our professionals in IT, Marketing and Sales are real people, some of them active also in environmental causes, medical relief, disaster recovery volunteer work.  Some have been firemen, civic leaders, Social Networking Professionals, etc.  Some of our jobseekers have been involved in Tsunami Relief work.  By day, some of our unassuming IT Professionals are looking after business process, on Holiday Breaks, they are building homes and communities -- it is not about "combatting" poverty, it is about "creating" positive change and care. 

We are proud to have helped support job seekers in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina, and we were proud to have met and partner with other great organizations on the path. 

Founded in 2001 as a tribute to our community, our nation, and our world after September 11, 2001.  Many of our friends and colleagues were affected by the devastating events of that difficult time, and we created the Helping Friends Career Network to provide opportunity for great people who's talents would be lost by not putting those with great community spirit and volunteerism back into the workforce into great jobs.
